Why Time Travel Should Be Legalized

By Dr. Raymond Everstone
Time travel has been a controversial topic, but if science has indeed cracked the code, it is time we stop fearing the future—or the past. Opponents argue that unrestricted time travel could lead to catastrophic paradoxes, but I firmly believe that controlled, legal time travel would be an unprecedented boon to humanity.
Imagine a world where we could prevent historical disasters or bring lost knowledge from ancient civilizations to the present. Diseases could be cured before they spread, and mistakes of the past could be corrected before they ever happen.
The black-market time tourism industry already exists, if the rumors are to be believed. If we do not legalize and regulate time travel, only the wealthiest and most reckless individuals will exploit it for personal gain. Instead of outlawing it, we should set up strict protocols and international agreements to ensure responsible use.
It is time to embrace the future—or, in this case, the past—before it’s too late.
