Scientists Discover a New Planet Made of Pure Diamond

Diamond planet

Astronomers at the Galactic Observation Institute have announced the discovery of a planet composed entirely of diamond. Located 200 light-years from Earth in the Omega Cluster, the planet, dubbed "Carbonia-7," has stunned the scientific community with its unique composition.

Dr. Lillian Carter, the lead researcher, stated, "We initially thought we had detected an unusually dense exoplanet, but further analysis confirmed that it is nearly 90% pure diamond. This is a once-in-a-lifetime discovery."

While the planet is too far for human exploration, plans are already underway to send a robotic probe within the next decade. Economists speculate that if humanity could mine even a fraction of Carbonia-7’s surface, it could collapse the global diamond market overnight.

Critics, however, believe that the announcement may be an elaborate April Fools' joke. The institute has yet to confirm or deny these suspicions, leaving the world in suspense.
